Summary:
This proposal will migrate the remaining gauges affected by the fee collection issue mentioned here. The gauges encompassed in this proposal will be migrated to new Composable Stable Pools (version 5) and kill the gauges of the earlier versions that are exposed to the fee collection problem mentioned. These pools are crucial to Balancer’s core and supplemental liquidity and is why they will be migrated in this second wave. These pools were all core pools in their prior version, and will be so in their new implementation. The new gauges will be added upon this proposal passing (ASAP) and the gauges to be killed will be killed the week of August 7th for the new pool incentives to fully be established by the BIP-19 flywheel. Any emissions caps which were in place are respected by this proposal.
Motivation:
By migrating to these new pools Balancer LP’s are in a safe position while protocol fees can still be collected by the DAO. While no funds are at risk in the current state, the migration will once again enable the core pool cycle and protocol fee collection.
