[BIP-78] Delegate Aave Holding to Llama

Voted Yes, Llama has been a mainstay of the Aave community and know the protocol well, it makes total sense to delegate our voting power to them

[BIP-79] Enable COMP/wstETH Gauge [Ethereum]

Voted Yes, gives the COMP whale an alternative choice for their voting power, they can farm with their COMP position and they can earn the DAO revenue at the same time

[BIP-80] Enable bb-rf-asUSD/bb-rf-aUSD Gauge [Optimism]

Voted Yes, just like with the BEETS platform these pools serve as great experimentation of the Balancer tech.

[BIP-81] Enable wstETH/bb-rf-aUSD/bb-rf-aWBTC 50/25/25 Gauge [Optimism]

Voted Yes, see above

[BIP-82] Enable bb-rf-aWETH/wstETH Gauge [Optimism]

Voted Yes, see above

[BIP-83] Enable DOLA/bb-a-USD Gauge [Ethereum]

Voted Yes, good to see more tokens using the bba-usd pool for base liquidity

[BIP-84] Revoke Hexagon’s Friendly Fork Status

Voted Yes, it’s a shame what happened with UST right before the big platform launch, but the project team did say they were working on a plan to still get things up and running and yet that never happened. Slowly over time there were less and less updates on what was going on. This project is considered dead in my eyes, however the team always has the option to reapply for a FF if they ever figure out how they want to move forward.

[BIP-85] Redeem TRIBE

Voted Yes, no brainer here

[BIP-86] Enable bb-rf-aUSDC/bb-rf-aUSDT/bb-rf-aDAI Gauge [Optimism]

Voted Yes, as mentioned probably a few times now, I think the community should appreciate the explorative nature of the BEETS team in terms of finding use cases for the Balancer Tech. These types of pools is what was exactly in mind when the ‘boosted’ framework came out

[BIP-87] Enable rETH/bb-rf-aUSD/rf-grain-OP 50/25/25 Gauge [Optimism]

Voted Yes, see BIP-86

[BIP-88] Enable rETH/BEETS/bb-rf-aUSD/bb-rf-grBAL Gauge w/2% emissions cap [Optimism]

Voted Yes, see BIP-86. I also like that they self imposed a cap for this gauge due to the BEETS token being part of the pool

[BIP-89] Enable wstETH/bb-a-usd Gauge [Ethereum]

Voted Yes, see BIP-86

[BIP-90] Enable rETH/bb-a-usd Gauge [Ethereum]

Voted Yes, see BIP-86

[BIP-91] Temporarily Adjust Optimism Fee Split

Voted Yes, we don’t seem to be giving up much to potentially gain a lot more. if nothing else we go back to where we were before, but hopefully that isn’t the case

[BIP-92] Deploy Liquidity Bootstrapping Pools to BNB Chain

Voted Yes, getting balancer tech on other chains is a win. we just don’t want to have to actively support too many protocols

[BIP-93] Enable BADGER/rETH 50/50 Gauge [Ethereum] w/10% emissions cap

Voted No, i didn’t disagree with the pool’s construction and appreciate that a cap was being applied, but still felt that 10% was too high of a cap, 2% or 5% would have probably been a better starting place in my eyes

[BIP-94] Enable wstETH/LDO Gauge [Arbitrum]

Voted Yes, i think these pools are very important to the future of the Balancer protocol

[BIP-95] Enable wstETH/LDO Gauge [Optimism]

Voted Yes, see BIP-94

Voted Yes, THX has been on the platform for awhile now, see no reason to not allow this gauge

[BIP-103] Karpatkey Balancer Treasury CU Proposal Update

Voted Yes, based on conversations with the Karpatkey team this seemed like a great way to put idle assets to work, but i guess in the end certain community members thought this wasn’t the way

Voted Yes, since there is a 2% cap i don’t see any issue with this gauge

Voted Yes, competition for holding veBAL is good when it is used responsibly. nothing against Aragon, more of a reminder it is up to the community to make sure the gauge framework is solid.

[BIP-110] Enable T/WETH 80/20 Gauge w/2% emissions cap [Ethereum]

Voted Yes, same as above, okay with these types of gauges for lower MC tokens if there is a limit on the maximum votes received

[BIP-111] Index Coop x Balancer DAO Partnership

Voted Yes, managed pools are very important for the future, we need some good solid use cases live in production. Index Coop has been around for quite awhile so I’m hoping they can deliver some solid product sets in the future

[BIP-112] Adjust Balancer Snapshot for Aura AIP-17

Voted Yes, hmm well I guess yet again the majority of voters were overtaken by the few. seems like this was yet another contentious vote that will lead to more fighting amongst a few parties rather than trying to build a better platform for all (and in a thoughtful way).

[BIP-113] Adjust Balancer Snapshot for AIP-17

Voted Yes, not sure why balancer governance is getting so involved in Aura trying to limit their voting power. The system they are trying to switch to has been in use elsewhere for more than a year. They tried something different at the beginning so credit for that. If the majority of people want this change not sure why a few people are holding it back, maybe i’m missing something.
