Summary
The purpose of this publication is to kill four Stream gauges:
- xUSD/vgUSDC (Mainnet)
- xUSD/vgUSDC (Arbitrum)
- xUSD/mevUSDC (Avalanche)
- xBTC/mevBTC (Avalanche)
Motivation
On November 4, 2025, Stream Finance disclosed a $93 million loss through an external fund manager, leading to the immediate suspension of all withdrawals and deposits. As a consequence, tokens have depegged and no longer serve any practical utility.
The xUSD/vgUSDC pool is particularly affected: vgUSDC is a Silo vault that allocated to xUSD and now has no available liquidity, resulting in zero volume in recent days despite attracting significant votes due to its Core Pool status. These gauges should be killed to prevent further emissions to pools with no productive use.
