Update: vote concluded
The vote has now closed.
BIP-928 passed, with the 50% treatment for tetuBAL, and BIP-929 did not pass.
With that, the orderly winddown described in BIP-928 is approved and we will move into execution.
The next key dates remain the ones set out in the proposal:
- 16 October: deadline for partners to request an extension for specific v3 pools through 30 November
- 30 October: withdrawals-only transition for applicable pools and end of the bug bounty
- 30 November: final v3 Vault pause
- End of May 2027: start of the first treasury distribution round
