## Summary
The Balancer DAO has locked its vested AURA into vlAURA across multiple BIPs throughout 2024 and Q1 2025. The fifth lock of 2.00m AURA will expire and can be relocked after May 29th and before the unlock date of June 5th, 2025:
The DAO therefore wishes to relock its current position in the classical way by executing a “manual” relock via the DAO multi-sig—similar to [BIP-767](https://forum.balancer.fi/t/bip-767-relock-balancer-daos-aura-q1-2025/6317) sixteen weeks ago.
## Technical Specification
The Balancer DAO Multisig `0x10A19e7eE7d7F8a52822f6817de8ea18204F2e4f` will interact with the vlAURA contract at `0x3fa73f1e5d8a792c80f426fc8f84fbf7ce9bbcac` and call `processExpiredLocks` with argument `true` - The execution needs to be timed AFTER unix timestamp 1748469600 (May 29th 00:00 GMT) and BEFORE timestamp 1749074400 (June 5th 00:00 GMT) !

This proposal is now obsolete as the Aura has been locked with the new dedicated Aura locker safe at `0x9a5BDF08a6969A4bDb7724beE3c6d8964BDc0B28`
This week will be the first voting roud the new AURA locker will cast votes. Any voting rewards accumulated by that address will be used to buy more AURA as outlined in [[BIP-832]](https://forum.balancer.fi/t/bip-832-transfer-and-automation-of-vlaura-management/6525)
