# \[BIP-808\] Enable Aave Boosted Pool Gauges on Base

## Summary
Enable Aave Boosted GHO/USR and GHO/EURC Gauges on Balancer v3 Base deployment.
These pools are to be considered “core pools” with protocol fees earned being partially allocated towards Quests on Paladin to attract token emission yield.
## Motivation
This publication proposes introduce two new poools and gauge mechanisms to enhance liquidity efficiency and yield opportunities on the Base network.
USDC and EURC are both deployed on Aave v3 with USR not yet listed on Aave. The Resolve team is expected to provide points, with Pendle and Spectra anticipated to build yield markets on top of the aBasGHO/USR liquidity pool.

The Balancer Maxi LM Multisig `0xc38c5f97B34E175FFd35407fc91a937300E33860` will interact with the `GaugeAdderv4` at `0x5DbAd78818D4c8958EfF2d5b95b28385A22113Cd` and call the addGauge function with the following arguments based on the table above:

1. Adding pool and gauge addresses with links to be specification section
2. Follow up edit for replacing the EURC pool with a new pool + gauge due to using a Forex rate provider. Rate provider from Chainlink must be Crypto market to have 365-24 hour coverage.
